I have always been a dabbler in various avenues of crafting. Woodworking, Photosculptures, Glass Bead Making, Jewelry, Scrapbooking, Card Making, and the list goes on. My husband Richard & I inherited this wonderful house and ranch we call “WWRR” from my parents Gordon & Pauline Spangler. The Spanglers purchased the property in 1967 and built their dream house and started raising cattle.
Gordon & Pauline were married for 77 years and lived in the house for 50 years until Pauline’s passing in February 2019 at age 98 and Gordon’s passing in July 2020 at 102. What a rich heritage and legacy they left for us.
Wanting to preserve this special place I approached my longtime friend Jelantha Elliott, who always wanted to own a retreat and we decided the place was ideal and joined forces.
My greatest wish is that everyone is touched in some small way by not only the crafting, but the comradery that happens when ladies can find a place they enjoy and friends that nurture their souls. That is my mission field.
Richard and I have been married for 43 years and raised our beautiful daughter Stacy.

I have dreamed of owning a scrapbook retreat ever since 1999 when I attended my very first one in the Colorado Mountains. It was a magical experience for me and allowed me to do one of my favorite things, socialize! I love to visit and talk about most anything, to my husband’s dismay.
I had just discovered the art of scrapbooking from a wonderful new friend, my boss, Janie McCarty. She had so many wonderful scrapbooks and I was fascinated by each one! I was hooked and determined to be a scrapbooker for life!
I soon became a Creative Memories Consultant and shared my new passion with everyone I met, family mostly because I hadn’t lived in Colorado very long and didn’t know many people.
However, that was about to change! I met so many amazing women through Scrapbooking! I was in heaven! Over the next few years, I would travel and scrapbook with ladies that have become lifelong friends.
In 2004, my husband and I made the move to Chickasha, Oklahoma, my hometown. After moving it seemed to be like starting my business over, but after some time of pouting, I started again and discovered that my 2 best scrapbooking companions were right under my nose, my sister, Regina McCool, and a friend from school, Tammi Bailey.
They would push and encourage me over the next few months and years to get my scrapbook business up and running again, and boy did we!
